I have a Master`s Degree in Social Work and I am a member in good standing of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I have training in multiple modalities such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interview (MI) and Trauma Counselling. Through Emotionally Focused Therapy,

I love creating a strong collaboration with my clients, to support them gently and safely towards change, by using the meaningful aspects that each of these modalities has to offer. The search for meaning and the empathic alliance with clients make my work unique, as unique are the different stories that individuals carry with them. In particular, Emotionally Focused Therapy is the privileged path through which people in therapy unfold their emotional world, feel heard and seen and find connection in their loving relationships. I am here to give you a safe and not-judgemental space and time to pause, look inward at your inner world and unfold your emotion, to rediscover connection to yourself and to your love ones. No relationship is lost or impossible as long as there is the desire to feel connected. I will be honoured to support you every step of the way and to witness the growth that this process might bring.

In addition to her MACP, she has completed the Emotionally Focused Therapy Externship and Core Skills, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy for Trauma, as well the Sex Therapy Intensive course from the University of Guelph. I have studied in the Emotionally Focused Therapy model, the GOLD STANDARD for couples therapy. The majority of my practice and training is focused solely on helping relationships improve. I see couples who need help as well as individuals who either need support in their relationships or who have other concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief or anger.

The disconnect in a relationship can be profound, yet some couples I’ve had the privilege of working with repair even the deepest wounds and are able to reconnect fully.

I AM NOT THE THERAPIST THAT SIMPLY SMILES AND NODS. I know what it takes to keep a relationship strong and work best with clients who are tired of being unhappy. My clients are most successful when they are willing to do what it takes to make some changes. I can’t change your relationship. You have to change your relationship and I am 100% ready to help support you in that.
